Did you ever see those late night adds for things like the Ronco pocket fisherman? The same guy has a hair spray to fill in thin spots, like men who are balding on top. It actually attaches to the hair and gives it a thicker look. I don't think that is the answer you wanted but I couldn't help but mention the Ronco hair spray.

There is no magic way to make thin hair thick other than a DNA operation. You can give thin hair more "body" by using the right conditioners but that is about it other than the Ronco spray :)

If your hair is straight try curling your hair , curling your hair makes it look like your hair is pretty much volumized i've tried treseme' volumizer spray and that worked for me but you should try it if you didn't use that one yet cause it worked for me :)

if your hair is pretty thin then i wouldn't want to straighten it more cause i had this problem before and it just made the shape of my head %26gt;%26lt; . if that doesn't work try teasing your roots on top of your head/scalp with a small thin brush or better yet your own fingers :) hope it works out

I always go with long layers to help with volume.. blow-dry upside down (although I use very little products because with fine hair you just get buildup)... I will check back because I need help too!

Why don't you try wearing it around the house for a couple of days? I got a perm years and years ago and even though it actually suited me, I felt like my head was a giant puffball for a day or two. I naturally have stick straight hair so it made me look completely different. Try wearing it around and see if you still think it looks like a wig in a few days... It probably looks great and if you could feel confident it would look even better. Let me know what you end up doing!

darling, you should try extentions mixed into your own hair to give more fullness. You can use a natural color close to your own hair color or try something really different %26amp; exciting and try a different color alltogether! If you can't afford human hair, there are many different textures of synthetics hair out there , except that it won't curl as well as human hair. You can press, curl, or crimp human hair with great ease and it will hold up all day and night!

you probably fried your hair since you straightened it so much, which is why its thinning and falling out.

i would reccommend to get it cut to get rid of the bad ends, and dont straighten it anymore, and there is something that you can get done at your hairdresser to restore your hair, but its pretty expensive. also, try not to use your blowdryer every time, andjust let your hair be curly or whatever it is, and if you think it looks bad just wear it up.

Perms are not often the best solution for thin hair in the aftermath. It can further damage your hair.

Try not to wash it every day. Give the oils a chance to stay in your hair.

If you blow dry your hair, tip your head upside down, as to blow the underside of the hair to create a fuller look. Use the hair dryer on a cool to medium setting.

Keep your hair trimmed. It will help to promote growth.

Having your hair layered adds volume and body. Spiral perms are quite pricey. I paid $60.00 about 10 years ago, I can only imagine how much they are now. Call a salon and ask them, they'll tell you. They need to be maintained or you look like a poodle as it grows out. Go to a really good salon (ask around and pay more if you have to) and get a REALLY good cut. I am a hairstylist/cosmetologist for 25 yrs now. Adding 'lots' of layers can actually take weight off her hair, but may in effect poof her out more. Listen instead to me and the other stylist, and go to a salon and have her hair professionally thinned with thinning shears. Call ahead, and make an appt. with the owner/manager or someone who has a lot of experience doing this. They may add some longer layers, and teach you how to use a flat iron on it as well. Well blow dryers aren't reccommended for hair in the first place. It makes hair dry, and causes more split ends. Try not to dry it with a blow dryer, and naturally dry it by air. It won't frizz up at all.

I suggest you go to a salon and get a haircut style that they can thin the hair. Also if you have split ends that won't be good for your hair. Cut your hair and let it grow back out naturally and then it should fall back into place.... I also say if your using a hairdryer right now. Maybe don't use it so much. It might help. Good Luck.

Best thing to do is when you have it cut, have then using thinning shears to make it less thick %26amp; heavy. This does not change your actual style you just had cut into your hair- it really works great. First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

my best advice and trust me this REALLY works. I too had similar concerns and I used coconut hair oil everyday on my hair. I would heat it up and give myself a hot oil head massage every night. When you are done massaging wrap a hot towel on your head. Leave in for an hour and wash with gentle shampoo. No need for conditioner. Let your hair air dry and you will be able to tell the difference. I would not suggest prenatal vitamins. I was told by my doctor that if I take them and am not pregnant it can cause liver problems. I just take a multi vitamin such as centrum and also biotin. I hope this helps you. good luck.

Do it while your hair is wet %26amp; let them dry competely, then take the rollers out %26amp; comb out the curls. You'll end up with loads of volume. You can also part your hair on the opposite side of your head, dry it completely with a blowdryer %26amp; then bring your hair back to the way you normally wear it.

run a bit of mousse thru ur hair when its damp, then split it down the bak, and put it in 2 low buns, by twisting ur hair into a bun and fixing it with a hair band behind ur ears. sleep on it and then take them out and seperate them into 1 inch sections in the morning wen its dry. GENTLY scrunch with mousse.

tip: use volumising mousse if your hair is fine, it has the same hold, but makes your hair look thicker too.

Let it air dry, or if you're in a hurry you can gently twist 1-2 inch sections and dry them by pointing your hair dryer up and laying the section on your diffuser. Once your hair is dry, touch it up with a large-barrel curling iron by curling 1-2 inch sections tip-to-root with the iron pointing up. Finish off with a few spritzes of hairspray to set.

There is absolutely nothing you can do to make your hair thicker.

I think what you mean to say is that you want more volume in your hair. That is a different thing.

Thick/thin refers to the number of hairs on your head. You can sometimes encourage some lazy follicles to start working again, but normally what you have is what you get. Texture (coarse/fine) refers to the amount of volume you have from your hair. If each hair is very fat, coarse, then you will have more volume, even if you have fewer of them than someone with really fine (skinny) hair. Coarse hair also sticks up more, making more volume. Fine hair will lay flat against the head.

One thing you can do is cut the hairs on the top of the head shorter (layers) so that they can fluff up or stand up easier. They won閳ユ獩 have the weight to pull down and look flat. It also adds some interest, some movement to your hair so it doesn閳ユ獩 just lay there, doing nothing. Once the hair reaches past your chin, it does nothing for you.

The other thing you can do is get quite long hair, and then pile it up on top. Find styles where you can pin it up in various ways, making it look like there is more than there really is. Of course, it can start look silly if you try to do the female version of the comb-over!! You can supplement this with added-on hair pieces of various kinds. Most of them are very useful to have. Check into that.

My hair is very thin, and it never wants to stay curled or done... Even when I get out of the shower and towel dry it, and comb it, it won't even stay straight, it gets waves(or creases as I call it) when I stick it behind my ears or pull it in a pony tail. I have the same type of hair. My hairstylist always recommends that I cut it short. (about shoulder length is as far as I go I'm not crazy about short hair either) because it makes the hair lighter and fuller looking. For hairstyles that depends on the shape of your face. I always tend to go for the Jessica Alba, or on a recent cover of a magazine Jessica Beil cut. The hair is about shoulder length and not to much of a curl since its hard to keep the curl in but a nice wave in it.

ive tried everything, and this is what works for me. wash your hair with tresemme for fin and flat hair/volumising. towel dry it a bit and comb it, and but in the tresemme volumising mousse. then blow dry your hair upside down.

I'm assuming that you use shampoo that makes the hair thicker. I knew someone once (woman) with such thin hair that she always wore a wig.
