I have REALLY thick hair, how can i thin it out?

i would like to keep the natural look of my hair, without using chemicals, maybe a natural ingredient to make my hair thinner. my hair is coarse, dry, and the ends are split and they always fluff up... i have tried almost every hair product, none of them work. HELP.

I suggest you go to a salon and get a haircut style that they can thin the hair. Also if you have split ends that won't be good for your hair. Cut your hair and let it grow back out naturally and then it should fall back into place.... I also say if your using a hairdryer right now. Maybe don't use it so much. It might help. Good Luck.

try PHYTO friz calming balm... it comes in a tube. can be expensive but im in love with it, it smooths out my hair so nicely and prevents puffy friz.

Best thing to do is when you have it cut, have then using thinning shears to make it less thick %26amp; heavy. This does not change your actual style you just had cut into your hair- it really works great. My sister has tons of hair %26amp; she has this done every time she gets a cut %26amp; loves the results.

Hey-I feel your pain! I don't think there's a permanent solution but when you go to salon you can ask them to thin it. It's not harmful to your hair but it definitely takes the weight off. Essentially, they cut vertically. Good luck!

Try using Aussie shampoo. If you are going to straighten it, don't use the straighteners from the market, buy it from salons, or just get a trim and blow dry your hair right after u take a shower. BRUSH YOUR HAIR 4 TIMES A DAY. My hair is super thick and it used to bug me, then i got layers and i followed those instructions.
