Best hair straighteners for thin hair?

I have long hair, about 6 inches below my shoulders, it is slightly layered and only the ends are wavy. when i straighten it my hair gets veryyy thin. I was wondering if there was a really good straightener out there that straightens ur hair, but doesnt make it thin and damaged? btw i have a gold n' hot straightener, and it works really well, and i think its about 2 1/2 inches thick, or maybe 3.

any help?!

if its making your hair thin then i would just stop straightenening it, because my friend has teh same problem and the ends of her hair are actually falling out..

why don't you just do the natural wavy look, it looks so undone thats its nice :)

Sorry hun but if your hair is thin then there is no way for the straightener to make it look fuller, you may want to try curling out your layers, this might help it to look a little more full, or you can even try teasing it a little in spots that particularly look thin.

for thin hair i wouldnt suggest a flat iron its better to use the blowdryer and a special straightening brush. less damage that way.
