Best product to add volume and texture to thin, flat hair?

I have tried big sexy, pantene "texturize", and other volume boosting shampoos, hairsprays, and root lifters.

The only one that I could even BEGIN to see a difference in is Hot Set 22 by Redken.

My hair is very thin and flat, with basically no texture. It won't hold curl and is way too soft to usually work with at all unless I put a TON of junk in it.

What are the best products? Doesn't matter how expensive they are. I'm willing to use a shampoo, conditioner, root lifter, hairspray, WHATEVER. I am desperate at this point!!!

Do Bed Head products work? If so, which ones are the best for this problem?

I have had that problem my entire life and here is what works best for me:

It sounds weird but Head %26amp; Shoulders Extra Volume Shampoo works really well. After that, I use Herbal Essences Body Envy Conditioner. Before blow drying my hair, I use Tresemme Big Boost volumizing spray which seems to help hold the volume.

Also, if your hair gets flat in the middle of the day, brush some baby powder through it to soak up the oil to make your hair have more volume.

what works for me is sleeping with my hair in braids while it has a bit of garnier fructis styling wax in it. my hair used to never hold anyting, but this works. also, dont wash your hair everyday. it strips the oils off your hair and makes it flat and frizzy
