It may become thinner and your hair will definetly get very dry. Just follow with some deep-conditioning and you should be fine.

By the way, I love platinum blonde.

Also, just a warning, bleaching hurts. When I bleached my hair it felt that my scalp was burning. But it was soo worth it. :)

No it wont ruin your hair just get some hair creme that you put in ur hair after u color or bleah it and its for thin hair so it dont die off and break off. you can get it at like any hair place or like a wal mart or something like that.

I'm no expert on this, but I would leave it up to a professional to do it for you. What color is your natural hair? Is it dark? If so, then to go to a platinum blonde, you would have to go down many shades which will definitely take its toll on your hair.

How much damage? I really don't know. But I would think it depends on things like what condition your hair is in right now, and how many shades you have to lighten it to reach the desired color. But yes, I think that, at least to some degree, your hair will be damaged by doing this. I don't know if I would go as far as saying that it would 'ruin' your hair. That, I do not know.

It won't ruin it, but it will be very dry..if you do do it i recommend a lot of conditioning treatments.
