Thin hair.. Should it be kept short?? or long cause the person likes it? even though it doesnt look

My sister has this problem too! The trick is to keep it an in-between length, you definetly dont want it to look STRINGY and transparent, so cut what needs to go! ESPECIALLY IF YOUR HAIR STARTS TO TAPER DOWNWARD!!!!

WHAT I DID (ima hairstylist), was give her a SMALL amount of layers all around -SINCE SHE DOESNT HAVE AN ABUNDANCE OF HAIR! PLUS some "undercutting" here and there throughout her hair which adds volume!! It works great, when it is done properly of course. *ALSO BE SURE TO GET A "BLUNT" haircut, because any texture will just blend into the exhisting problem, making it thinner :(

BASICALLY, its a combo of cutting techniques to produce the best "tailored" results for this hair type. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND, "you get what you pay for", you will have better results with a "Master Artist" or "Texture Specialist" at a pricier salon, rather than with whomever at a mom %26amp; pop shop WHERE the FOCUS is to get peope in %26amp; out rapidly for business! TOOK me a while to figure that out =)

goodluck

Maybe not too long. Will only enhance the thiness.

this hair should be kept short because it will appear fuller and more bouncy than it it's down by your waist.

Thin hair can be worn long or short... as long as it doesn't look stringy. That's key. Good hair maintanence is required no matter what length. Use good hair products and any length could look beautiful.

I have very thin flat hair. Depending on the shape of your face, a pixie cut looks great with this hair type. Just mousse up every day after washing it and let it towel dry. Choppy and messy works best. (diamond shaped face works best with this)

It dosen't have to be super short, but it shouldn't be long either.

The longer the hair, the more thin it will look. Try a volume booster at the roots of your hair if your hair looks a little flat.

If it's very thin, short is definitely better. But, sometimes people with thin hair can get away with a bit longer if they do a few things. Use a plumping shampoo and conditioner. I recommend FAT from Redken along with a volumising mousse and blow drying hair upside down. The right cut is also essential. A few layers will help create more volume. But, it should probably be kept to the shoulder blades at the longest. Coloring hair also plumps it up a bit because it fills the hair strands.
