dont straigten your hair anymore. it ruins the hair cause of the heat. Use patene shampoo, at least once a week. blow dry your hair. It will get better over time.

hope this hlps! :)

To treat your hair apply a little lemon juice with some black tea. Massage well and shampoo.Rub oil into the scalp. Wring out a towel in hot water and wrap it on the head. Keep it on for 15 minutes. Shampoo and dry well. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

stop abusing it !there are some vitamins you can take and shampoos that claim thickening but they will only work on new hair growth check to see if its coming from your scalp if so try some rogain.good luck

Have you had your thyroid checked? From what I understand, thyroid and/or stress can cause your hair to fall out (I know because mine has gotten thinner, too). There are mouses at the beauty shop that are supposed to thicken the hair shaft, but they're expensive. My hair usually looks thicker when I get it layered and perms usually make my hair look thicker, but check with your hairdresser to see what he/she recommends.

You are born with a certain number of hair follicles. This will not change over your lifetime. I would suggest several things....fake hair "clip -ins" are affordable and so mainstream these days. These provide volume while blending in.

Also, weaves are growing in popularity. If you can take the pain, they last longer, look natural and provide thickness to otherwise thin hair.

Also? Layers can be a big volume booster. Maybe consider having some cut into your hair.

Other alternatives would be teasing the hair, or to use volumizing products.

Another tip:When you condition, try using a lighter conditioner. this hair gets weighed down easily. I suggest Dove Conditioner. It softens/conditions, but it does it weightlessly.

I dont' know that anything can bring back the hair you once had. Things change with your body all the time.

I (thankfully) have a good amount of hair but it's all very fine so it doesn't want to do much. I've discovered a thickening spray by Graham Webb called "Thick Infusion" that works well to add volume. I get it from Ulta. I use it lightly at the roots before blow-drying upside-down. You can't go too heavy with it or your hair will feel a little weird. Another good tip that works for me is not conditioning all the way down to the roots, just smoothing it over the last third of my hair and rinsing off immediately.

A very layered cut will also help beef up thin hair.

Goodness, girl! I wish I had thinner hair. My hair is as thick as you can get. (We're talking having three pony tail holders wrapped around my hair just so my "do" will stay in place) But just as I have to deal with the thickness, you can deal with your hair's thinness!

First of all, remember that you're already beautiful and you don't need the world's criticism to define you.

I would get multiple layers put in next time you get your hair cut, so it just isn't "hanging there" looking boring. Thin hair does tend to like a little stringy, but if you get layers, it'll jazz it up a little. Even though it is expensive, I'd talk to your hair stylist about getting a "volume enhancing" spray. Every day after you have showered you just spray the product into your roots.

Good luck. I hope my advice helped you!
