If you are willing to spend some time every morning you can try blow drying your hair with a large round brush and then hair spray. when you use it start towards the root of your hair and while twirling the brush a little pull your hair gently up and outwards.

WALMART go to the curling/straighting iron section, they have this 3 bar wave curling iron.. I love it.. you just take a large strand of hair, and clamp it in there, hold it for 15 seconds or so and you have waves... of course it will take a while to do all of your hair. It has to be layered and then blow dried, use a straightening iron to flip it in places where you want body, then turn your head upside down and spray it with volumizing hair spray and tossle it with your fingers until dry.

You will have fuller and hipper looking hair.

I feel you - my hair is the same way. I think i have literally tried everything to get it to look full and sexy. I think i finally mastered the sexy part but its not full. I finally learned to like my straight hair, after i permed it and it ruined it, but i guess it made me appreciate my hair as it is naturally. I grew my hair out long and its naturally dark brown so i had my hair dresser put in some golden blonde highlights in it. not a whole bunch of them, just a few around my face and it looks great. I guess the highlights added some demension to it and it doesnt look flat next to my head anymore which i love. So if i were you id try to grow out your hair as long as you can stand it and then put in some highlights. Hope this helps!
