My hair is not thinning, and im a teenager. My mom has thick hair and my dad has thin hair. Im currently taking about 500mcg's of biotin daily, and it's been about 3-4weeks since i first started taking them. Im desperate for thicker hair and i dont think hair extensions are an option. If you could tell me some remidies and vitamins that really work, and where to get them, that would be highly appreciated. But i dont have a job or anything so it'd have to be something not too expensive, but still works.

There's a few things you could try. You can try moose, which really adds volume to your hair, you could try a thickening cream which you put in your hair before you blow dry it, or a thickening shampoo...or all of them! They all work good. You can find them at a regular drugstore, but if you want real quality go to a professional salon and ask what products they use. It might be a little more expensive but worth it.

ALSO, are you thinking hair extensions aren't an option because of the cost? Well there are cheaper ones you can get, such as the clip in ones that Jessica Simpson uses. They're real hair, and you can still dye/heat style them, but they're not perminently bonded to your hair and they're less money. You might want to look into it, your hair would look gorgeous! Or get a job and save up for them, but in the meantime use thickening products.

And also, the answer under mine is wrong. There most certainly is things you can do to fix it. Do you think all celebrities are born with naturally, thick gorgeous hair? I don't think so!

Thick or thing hair (if its not caused by a medical problem) really isn't something you can "cure."

If you have naturally thin hair... nothing you can take it going to change that. Can you find ways to style it to make it look less thin? Sure.

But its not something you can fix, because its not broken.
